Yoshino Mikumari Shrine, Shinto shrine in Mount Yoshino, Japan.
The main hall of Yoshino Mikumari Shrine combines three separate structures under a single layered bark roof with dormer gables.
Toyotomi Hideyori reconstructed the shrine buildings in 1605 after his father Toyotomi Hideyoshi made prayers for a male successor.
The shrine enshrines six deities related to mikumari, including a wooden statue of Tamayori-hime registered as a National Treasure of Japan.
Located in the upper Kami Senbon area, visitors can access the shrine through a 70-minute walk from Yoshinoyama Station.
The shrine features a wooden owl sculpture near its exit, with origins that remain unexplained to this day.
