Hitachi Athletic Stadium

Hitachi Athletic Stadium is a sports facility in Ibaraki Prefecture featuring a nine-lane running track surrounding a grass field. The venue holds roughly 8,500 spectators and serves both track and field events as well as soccer matches.

The facility opened in 1974 to host the National Sports Festival of Japan in Ibaraki Prefecture. This inaugural event established its role as a regional sports hub.
