Mount Hyōno, Mountain peak in Yabu and Wakasa, Japan

Mount Hyōno is a mountain peak located on the border between Yabu and Wakasa in Hyōgo Prefecture. The terrain features steep slopes covered with dense forests, with several marked trails leading toward the summit from different approach points.

The peak formed from a submarine volcano that rose above the surface approximately three million years ago through geological processes. These volcanic origins shaped the mountain massif and created the landscape we see today.
