Iwaki Park

Iwaki Park is an urban green space in Iwaki New Town with around 200 cherry trees of different varieties planted in landscaped sections. The park features walking paths and designated areas for recreation and outdoor activities.

The park was created as part of the planning and development of Iwaki New Town to serve the emerging residential district. Its establishment was a key part of shaping the urban landscape of the new community.

A viewing tower located within the park provides views of the Pacific Ocean and the coastal landscape, especially striking during spring when the cherry trees bloom. From this vantage point visitors can experience both ocean and flowering trees together.
