Iwaki Park

Iwaki Park features an array of 200 Somei Yoshino and Oshima cherry trees spread across multiple landscaped sections with walking paths and recreational areas.

The establishment of Iwaki Park marked a significant phase in the development of Iwaki New Town, transforming the area into a modern residential district.

During spring, the park becomes a central location for hanami celebrations, where residents gather under blooming cherry trees for traditional flower viewing parties.

Visitors can reach the park within 20 minutes by car from Iwaki Yumoto Interchange, with regular bus services operating from Izumi Station on the JR Joban Line.

The Marine Tower within the park provides panoramic views that combine the Pacific Ocean scenery with seasonal cherry blossoms during spring months.
