Marizon

Marizon is a waterfront commercial complex in Momochi-hama overlooking Hakata Bay, featuring multiple dining venues, shops, and wedding halls. The facility combines retail and hospitality services with access to bay-view areas and outdoor spaces.

The complex was developed during Fukuoka's waterfront revitalization in the late 1980s and opened to the public in 1989. Its creation marked a shift in transforming the harbor area into a modern destination for shopping and leisure.

The complex hosts traditional Japanese wedding ceremonies in dedicated halls while serving as a gathering space for community events and celebrations. Visitors can observe how these occasions blend with everyday shopping and dining activities throughout the year.
