Marugame City History and Folklore Museum

The Marugame City History and Folklore Museum displays collections of regional artifacts, documents, and traditional items within a modern building complex.

The museum, established in 1972, preserves the heritage of Marugame city through exhibits documenting the development of the region from ancient times.

Exhibition halls present local customs, traditional crafts, and daily life objects that reflect the social patterns of Marugame throughout different periods.

Located at the base of Marugame Castle, the museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday through Sunday between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

The museum contains numerous artifacts related to Nikkari Aoe, a historical figure connected to the medieval period of Marugame region.
