The Hachioji Yume Art Museum started its operations in October 2003 as part of a central urban redevelopment project in Hachioji city.
The exhibition program includes works from twentieth-century Japanese artists alongside temporary displays of international art movements and cultural traditions.
Visitors can access the museum daily except Mondays from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with standard admission fees of 100 yen for high school students and older.
The facility maintains rotating exhibitions that change every one to two months, presenting subjects ranging from ukiyoe prints to British Automata mechanical art pieces.
