The garden opened its gates on April 20, 2002, introducing a new approach to natural gardening with designs from international experts like Robin Williams and Darrel Morrison.

The Community Garden section engages local volunteers and visitors through educational programs about nutrition and flower cultivation, including activities for people with disabilities.

Admission costs 300 yen for adults, 200 yen for seniors over 65, and 150 yen for students, with operating hours from 9:30 to 5:00 March through November.
