Alps Azumino National Government Park

The park spans two distinct regions, Horigane-Hotaka and Omachi-Matsukawa, featuring gardens, forested areas, and mountain streams against Northern Japan Alps backgrounds.

Following its inauguration in July 2004, the park established itself as a significant recreational facility that preserves traditional Japanese agricultural landscapes.

The Azumi School within the park functions as an exhibition center where visitors learn about local customs through activities like soba noodle preparation.

The facility maintains different seasonal hours, provides parking for 1000 vehicles, and offers reduced entrance fees for seniors and children under 15 years.

Visitors can catch and grill rainbow trout in a pond filled with glacial water from the Northern Alps during summer months.
