Okutono Jin'ya

The Okutonojinya complex features white earthen walls and samurai residences positioned on a hill, with the Kinbotei building and Horai garden at its center.

Established in 1711 by the Ogyu-Matsudaira clan, Okutonojinya served as an administrative headquarters for the Okutono Domain during the Edo period.

The site contains a tea ceremony room, exhibition halls, and memorial halls dedicated to past feudal lords of the Okutono Domain.

Located 25 minutes from Okazaki Interchange, the complex operates from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM and provides free parking for 115 vehicles.

The gardens display seasonal flowers throughout the year, from spring cherry blossoms to winter camellias, complemented by traditional Japanese architectural elements.
