Asahiyama Memorial Park

The park features numerous walking paths, hanging bridges, and an observatory at 137.5 meters above sea level offering views of Sapporo and the Ishikari Plain.

The municipal government established this public space in 1970 to commemorate the centennial anniversary of Sapporo's founding as a modern planned city.
