Sone Kyūryō Park

Sone Kyūryō Park contains ancient burial mounds, recreational spaces, and the Yamanashi Prefectural Archaeological Museum across its elevated terrain in Kofu City.

The park, established in 1986, preserves multiple archaeological sites including the Maruyamazuka Kofun and Kai Chōshizuka Kofun burial mounds from ancient periods.

The Yamanashi Prefectural Archaeological Museum within the park displays extensive collections of Jomon and Yayoi pottery that represent regional craftsmanship.

Visitors can access the park throughout the day without admission fees, while the museum operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with entrance fees of 210 yen.

The park combines archaeological preservation with modern recreational facilities, featuring five restroom locations and designated barbecue areas requiring advance reservations.
