Rinshō-in

Rinshō-in is a Buddhist temple located in eastern Kasugai with traditional architecture and spaces dedicated to meditation practice. The temple features halls and grounds designed for spiritual pursuits and community gathering.

The temple belongs to the Koyasan Shingon Buddhist school, whose teachings arrived from China during the Heian period and continue to shape its spiritual direction. This lineage remains central to the temple's practice today.

The temple connects Buddhist meditation practices with contemporary psychological support through its regular sessions and trauma care programs.

Morning meditation sessions take place five days per week with guidance from experienced Buddhist practitioners available to visitors. Arriving early helps ensure you find a comfortable spot and can ask questions before sessions begin.

The temple developed specialized training programs for Buddhist priests based on Clinical Pastoral Education methods. These programs equip the clergy to support people affected by disasters through counseling and spiritual guidance.
