Kasugai City Library

The Kasugai City Library spans multiple floors with dedicated spaces for children, audiovisual materials, and general reading rooms containing over 200,000 books.

The Kasugai City Library, established on November 1, 1947, emerged during the post-war period when Japan implemented new laws supporting free public access to libraries.

The library functions as a cultural forum with three open areas, including an event plaza, interaction atrium, and Sky Forum, facilitating community gatherings.

The facility provides underground parking for 168 vehicles and maintains a book depository system capable of storing more than 500,000 volumes.

The fourth floor features an outdoor reading area called the Sky Forum, where visitors can read while enjoying open-air conditions.
