Akita Furusato-mura extends across 165 square meters of land, featuring interconnected buildings with a planetarium, craft workshops, and multiple exhibition spaces.

The theme park commenced operations on April 20, 1994, establishing itself as a central destination for visitors exploring the Akita Prefecture traditions.

The Industrial Arts Exhibition Hall displays traditional craftwork from the region, while the Akita Museum of Modern Art presents contemporary Japanese artworks.

Located 15 minutes by bus from JR Yokote Station, the park operates daily from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM with complete facilities accessibility during rainy weather.

The SPACIA Space Exploration Hall contains the largest planetarium in the Tohoku region, offering astronomical education programs throughout the year.
