Janosaki-bashi

Janosaki-bashi is a road bridge that spans the Yokote River in Yokote, Akita Prefecture. It connects both banks and allows vehicles and pedestrians to cross the waterway.

An earlier bridge at this site dates back to the early 20th century and was long a vital crossing point for local communities. The current structure was completed in 2001 as a replacement.

The bridge earned recognition as part of the 100 Fine Bridges of Japan collection, representing excellence in Japanese bridge construction and design.

The bridge is part of Akita Prefecture's regional road network and can be used by both vehicles and pedestrians. It is accessible year-round and serves as an important connection for daily traffic in the area.
