Miyama is a toll gate on the Minamikyushu expressway in Higashiichiki-chō. The facility manages vehicle access along this roughly 140-kilometer highway connecting Yatsushiro to Kagoshima in the south.

The toll gate was moved here from Ichiki Interchange when the section of the Minamikyushu Expressway west of Ichiki Interchange began operating as a toll-free stretch. It stands beside Miyama Interchange and Miyama Parking Area. From 28 June 2010 to 19 June 2011 a social experiment made the Ichiki to Kagoshima-nishi section toll-free.

The toll gate sits beside Miyama PA and Miyama IC, and its four booths are split by direction: two for traffic toward Ichikikushikino and Satsumasendai, two for Hiyoshi and Kagoshima, each side with one ETC-only lane and one general lane. From 28 June 2010 to 19 June 2011 the Ichiki to Kagoshima-nishi stretch ran as a free-of-charge social experiment.

The gate has four booths, two for each direction: one ETC-only lane and one general lane per side, so electronic toll collection works in both directions. It sits directly beside Miyama Interchange and Miyama Parking Area, between Ichiki Interchange and Ijuin Interchange.

The toll gate was moved here from Ichiki Interchange when the section west of Ichiki became a free-use stretch. It stands beside Miyama Parking Area and Miyama Interchange, and its four booths include one ETC-only lane in each direction.
