Aso Cuddly Dominion

The facility spans multiple sections with designated areas for bears, chimpanzees, and domestic animals, connected by elevated walkways and observation points throughout the grounds.

The establishment opened in 1973 as Aso Bear Ranch before expanding its collection to include various species and entertainment features, leading to its renaming in 1998.

The park maintains a connection to Japanese wildlife through its bear exhibits, reflecting the cultural significance of these animals in the Kumamoto region.

Located 35 kilometers from Kumamoto Interchange, the park charges 1600 yen for adults and 800 yen for students, operating from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Visitors can observe bears through a glass-bottom bridge and underground viewing tunnel, providing multiple perspectives of these large mammals in their enclosures.
