青海橋, Road bridge in Koto, Japan

The Aomi Bridge spans the Ariake-nishi Canal, connecting the districts of Ariake and Aomi within the Koto ward of Tokyo.

Initially constructed in 1987 as part of Tokyo's waterfront development plan, the bridge served as a construction road before opening to public traffic in 1991.

The bridge appeared in the 1991 television drama 'Fusoroi no Ringo-tachi III', which showcased the developing waterfront area of Tokyo.

Located three minutes on foot from Tokyo Teleport Station on the Rinkai Line, the bridge stands near the Water Science Museum and Musashino University Ariake Campus.

The bridge closed in 2020 for Olympic Games construction work and received a budget allocation for demolition in 2021.
