Kōrankei, Natural canyon in Toyota, Japan

Located in Aichi Prefecture, Korankei Canyon features 4,000 maple trees along the banks of the Tomoe River, creating reflections in the water.

The Suzuki Clan established their presence in the area through Asuke Castle, which became a central point of control for the Korankei region.

The annual Korankei Maple Festival in November presents traditional wedding ceremonies and performances by the Toyota Junior Marching Band.

Access to the canyon requires a 15-minute drive from Chikaraishi Interchange or public transportation via Higashiyama Subway Line from Nagoya Station.

During autumn evenings, bamboo lanterns at Kojakuji Temple and wishing candles near Tomoe River illuminate the canyon's natural features.
