Izumo Taisha Iwami branch shrine is a small shrine located in Hamada, Shimane Prefecture, and part of the larger Izumo Taisha shrine system with deep roots in Japanese tradition. The shrine is located about a 10-minute walk from Hamada Station and is equally accessible by car from the Hamada interchange. Visitors find the quietest experience in early morning or late afternoon when fewer people are present.
