Tokai University Marine Science Museum

The museum spreads across two floors, featuring an aquarium with 400 marine species on the first level and scientific exhibits on the second floor.

Established by Tokai University Social Education Center, the museum opened its doors on May 2, 1970, and received the Koga Award in 1998.

The facility educates visitors about marine ecosystems through its 25 tanks displaying creatures from Suruga Bay at different depth levels.

Located at 2389 Miho, the museum operates from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, charging 1,500 yen for adults and 750 yen for children.

The central Ocean Water Tank measures 10 by 10 by 6 meters and houses over 1,000 sea creatures representing multiple underwater environments.
