Miyoshi City Library

Miyoshi City Library is located within the Sunlive complex and spans multiple floors with an extensive collection of books and digital materials. The spaces are modern and include dedicated areas for reading, research, and hosting community programs.

The current facility opened in 2016, replacing the previous structure that served the community from 1978 to 2016. This new building was part of a modernization effort to provide better facilities for the area's growing needs.

The library organizes regular reading programs and educational workshops that connect residents with Japanese literature and learning resources.

The library opens from 9 AM to 7 PM on weekdays and until 6 PM on Sundays, with closures on Mondays and fourth Thursdays. It's helpful to check the current schedule before your visit, as hours may vary during certain periods.

Since 2024, members can display their library cards directly on their smartphones instead of carrying a physical card. This digital system simplifies access and reflects how the library adapts to modern user habits.
