Kamodamisaki Lighthouse, Maritime navigational structure at Kamodamisaki Cape in Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan
The white concrete lighthouse tower reaches 11.5 meters in height and projects a single flashing white light visible from 19 kilometers at sea.
The lighthouse began operations on October 1, 1924, marking the easternmost point of Shikoku Island and helping vessels navigate the Seto Inland Sea.
The lighthouse stands near Sada Shrine, where fishermen celebrate the Cape Festival by carrying portable shrines on decorated fishing boats.
Visitors can reach the lighthouse by taking the JR Mugi Line to Anan Station, followed by a Tokushima Bus to Yokoo and a 90-minute walk.
The structure connects with Kii Hinomisaki Lighthouse in Wakayama Prefecture, forming a critical navigational line that defines the boundaries of the Seto Inland Sea.
