The Tarami Library began serving the Isahaya community in November 2004, marking a new chapter in local educational infrastructure development.

The library features a mascot based on the finless porpoise from Omura Bay, connecting the facility with local marine wildlife.

Located within a 15-minute walk from Kikitsu Station, the library maintains a collection of books, CDs, and DVDs with a 150-vehicle parking area.

The library incorporates marine elements into its design, reflecting its proximity to Omura Bay through architectural features and interior spaces.
