豊川海軍工廠平和公園, Historical memorial park in Toyokawa, Japan.
The 3-hectare park features preserved military structures, including gunpowder storage facilities and defensive earthworks from a former Imperial Japanese Navy factory.
The naval munitions factory operated from December 1939 until August 1945, when American B-29 bombers struck the facility, resulting in 2,500 casualties.
The Peace Exchange Center within the park displays over 100 photographs and documents that detail the military facility's operations and wartime experiences.
Four daily guided tours operate Wednesday through Monday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with free admission and parking for 60 vehicles.
The preserved powder magazine maintains its original three-room structure with earthen covering designed for temperature and humidity control.
