Shidenkai Museum, Military aviation exhibition hall in Ainan, Japan.
The Shidenkai Museum displays a complete Kawanishi N1K2-J fighter aircraft and related artifacts within the Baseyama Park along Nishiumi Road.
The exhibited fighter plane was recovered from Hisayoshi Bay in 1979, where it remained underwater for 34 years after crashing during World War II.
The museum preserves the only remaining Kawanishi N1K2-J fighter plane in Japan, representing the technical achievements of Japanese military aviation.
The exhibition hall opens daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering free admission and wheelchair access, with a parking lot accommodating 50 vehicles.
The recovered aircraft maintains numerous features from its time underwater, demonstrating the effects of marine preservation on military artifacts.
