We've the Zenith Tower A, Residential skyscraper in Haeundae, Busan, South Korea
We've the Zenith Tower A is a residential skyscraper in the Haeundae district of Busan, South Korea, rising to 300 meters. It is part of a three-tower complex and ranks among the tallest residential buildings in the world, with its exterior curves inspired by the waves of the nearby beach.
Planning for the tower began in the early 2000s, construction started in late 2007, and the building was completed in late 2011. It received architectural awards in that same year, shortly after opening to residents.
The tower is located in the Haeundae district of Busan, close to the beach and easily reached by public transit. Since it is a residential building, visitors can only view it from the outside and the surrounding public areas.
The building's facade is coated with weather-resistant paint from AkzoNobel, chosen specifically to protect against the salt air coming off the sea. Inside, sensors continuously measure wind pressure and seismic movement to keep residents safe.
