Tintagel Colombo

Tintagel Colombo is a colonial mansion in Colombo, Sri Lanka, that blends period architectural elements with modern updates. The building offers ten residential suites and multiple dining spaces, including a courtyard and a bar with a library of around 6,000 books.

The house was designed in 1929 by architect Homi Billimoria for Dr. Lucian de Zilwa. In the years that followed, it served as the residence for several of the country's prime ministers.

The building shows how colonial mansions were converted into luxury lodgings while keeping their original architectural character. Visitors can experience this mix of old design and modern comfort when walking through the rooms and hallways.
