Zypliai Manor

Zypliai Manor is a classicist estate in Tubeliai village that comprises eleven buildings arranged across the grounds. The structures sit within a large park featuring distinctive rows of poplar and hornbeam trees.

The estate was built in the mid-1800s by Jonas Bartkovskis and later came under the ownership of Count Tomas Potockis. The count carried out significant renovations that introduced neo-Baroque architectural features to the original design.

The manor functions as a creative hub where regional artists display their work and visitors can watch craftspeople at their trade. It serves as a gathering place for the local artistic community and their productions.

The site offers guided tours and hands-on courses in traditional crafts including pottery, blacksmithing, and stonework held at the Lukiškės Cultural Center. Visitors can explore the grounds at their own pace between organized activities.

The grounds contain an ancient oak tree that has stood for more than 380 years, making it a living monument on the estate. Rare varieties of maple also grow within the park, adding botanical significance to the landscape.
