Ecodrome, Nature and culture park in Zwolle, Netherlands.
The Ecodrome combined educational exhibits and recreational activities across multiple zones, including wetlands, jungle, and ice age themed expeditions.
The main pavilion originated from the 1992 Floriade exhibition in Zoetermeer, where it served as the National Environmental Pavilion before moving to Zwolle.
The park integrated educational elements through its Time Travel Expedition, teaching visitors about Earth's formation through immersive experiences and presentations.
The facility operated until April 2012 when the municipality of Zwolle discontinued its funding, leading to the park's permanent closure.
Visitors could paddle through artificial swamps with model crocodiles and observe real animals including caimans named Hap and Snap.
