Archcathedral Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka, Łódź

The red brick cathedral rises 104 meters into the sky with two symmetrical towers and large stained glass windows along its walls.

Construction of this religious building began in 1901 and was completed in 1912, during the rapid industrial development of Łódź.

The cathedral serves as the main Catholic church of the Łódź Archdiocese and holds regular concerts of sacred music throughout the year.

Visitors can access the cathedral daily from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with guided tours available upon request at the parish office.

The building was designed by the Zillmann brothers, who incorporated 36 types of bricks to create different structural and decorative elements.
