Nowy Sącz County

Nowy Sącz County is an administrative district in southern Lesser Poland that borders Slovakia. The area comprises several municipalities and towns, each serving as a distinct administrative unit within the broader territorial structure.

The territory became part of Austrian Galicia after 1772, shaping its development for more than a century. It took its present form as a separate administrative unit during Poland's territorial reorganization in the late 1990s.
