Aleja Gwiazd Sportu we Władysławowie

Aleja Gwiazd Sportu is a promenade with bronze stars set into granite blocks, each inscribed with the name of a notable athlete. The path runs from Merkleina Street to the beach and offers visitors places to stop and read the commemorations along the way.

The promenade was founded in 2000 with thirteen initial honorees representing different sports disciplines. Additional athletes have been added over the years to recognize Poland's ongoing sporting achievements.

The promenade displays names of athletes who shaped Polish sports history, creating a place where visitors can connect with national achievements through physical markers. Regular ceremonies bring athletes and trainers together to unveil new stars and celebrate the country's sporting legacy.

The promenade is free and open to visitors at any time, allowing you to explore at your own pace. Wear comfortable walking shoes as you will be moving between the stones, and the site is worth visiting in any season.

The promenade features the Korona Himalajów monument, added in 2014, which commemorates the eight-thousander peaks summited by Polish mountaineers. This unexpected addition links mountaineering achievements with the sports stars nearby.
