Port of Władysławowo, Fishing port in Władysławowo, Poland
The Port of Władysławowo is Poland's largest fishing harbor, with seven wharfs and two piers designed to accommodate around 120 vessels. The facility provides essential services including power connections and waste management for fishing boats using the harbor.
The harbor was established in 1938 and underwent major expansion in 1969 when fish processing facilities and cold storage were added. This development transformed it into a center for Poland's fishing industry.
The port remains rooted in fishing traditions, with boats bearing the WŁA designation visible daily, a mark that identifies vessels from this region. This connection shows how maritime work continues to shape the character of the place.
The harbor accommodates vessels up to 70 meters in length with a maximum draft of 4 meters. The best time to visit is early morning when fishing boats are most active and the harbor shows its working character.
From 2025, the harbor serves as a support base for the Ocean Winds offshore wind farm located about 36 kilometers into the Baltic Sea. This new role blends traditional fishing operations with renewable energy development on the water.
