Rezerwat przyrody Skałki Przegorzalskie

The Skałki Przegorzalskie is a nature reserve in northwestern Kraków featuring limestone cliffs that rise steeply from the surrounding terrain. The rocky formations and forested areas create a landscape with natural pathways and varied elevation throughout.

The area received protected status in 1959 to safeguard its geological features and plant species. This designation reflected efforts to preserve natural spaces within the expanding city boundaries.

The rocky cliffs support plant life found in very few other places across the region. These rare species have adapted to the warm and dry conditions created by the limestone surfaces.

Access is provided by multiple trails that wind through the reserve from various entry points. Sturdy footwear is recommended since the ground is rocky and slopes can be steep in places.
