Wojszyce, Wrocław

Wojszyce is a residential quarter in southern Wrocław that spreads across elevated terrain and features a mix of single-family homes and modern apartment complexes. Multiple bus lines connect this district to central Wrocław, and a railway station provides additional transit access.

The quarter was first mentioned in writing in 1249 and takes its name from the Old Polish name of its founder Wojsław. This early record shows that the area was already an established settlement during the medieval period.

The Church of the Savior, built starting in 1985 and consecrated in 1991, serves as the main religious center for residents. It shapes the character of this southern residential district.

The district is easy to reach by public transport, with several bus lines connecting it to other neighborhoods. The railway station that reopened in 2022 offers additional transit options for visitors and residents.
