Villa Colonia

Villa Colonia stands at 14 Rapackiego Street with five levels, including an attic and basement, covering 590 square meters of living space.

On May 6, 1945, German General Hermann Niehoff and Soviet General Władimir Głuzdowski signed the capitulation documents of Festung Breslau at this location.

The building demonstrates architectural influences from early 20th century Viennese design, incorporating elements from Friedrich Ostendorf and Secession styles.

Three main entrances provide access to the villa: one at the front, another from the garden side, and two service entries leading to the basement.

The original table used for signing the World War II capitulation documents remains inside the villa as part of its permanent furnishings.
