The Former Ursuline Convent features Gothic elements on its exterior, including the main portal, windows, and supporting structures, while displaying Baroque decorations inside.
The structure began as a Dominican monastery in 1479, later became Lutheran after the Protestant Reformation, and in 1733 was given to Ursuline nuns.
The church interior contains multiple statues of saints on supporting columns and an inscription dedicated to Empress Marie Theresa in red letters from 1774.
Located at General Magheru Street 34-36 in Sibiu, the building currently serves both Roman Catholic and Greek Catholic communities for religious services.
The architectural design preserves elements from three distinct periods: Dominican monastery features, Lutheran modifications, and Baroque renovations funded by Empress Marie Theresa.
