Tauride Palace, Neoclassical palace on Shpalernaya Street, Saint Petersburg, Russia
The Tauride Palace features multiple grand halls, including the Dome Hall, Catherine Hall, and State Duma Hall, connected by decorated galleries.
Built between 1783 and 1789 for Prince Grigory Potemkin, the palace later became the meeting place of the first Russian State Duma from 1906 to 1917.
The palace halls contain original early 19th-century paintings and host regular symphony concerts in collaboration with the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
Guided tours require advance booking at least two business days ahead and visitors must present identification documents due to security protocols.
The palace contains what was once the largest interior space in Saint Petersburg, the Grand Gallery, measuring 75 meters in length.
