Buddhavihara (full name Wat Abhidhamma Buddhavihara) is a private house in the settlement of Gorelovo, within Saint Petersburg, owned by the Thai citizen Phra Chatri Hemapandha. A Buddhist temple-monastery was inaugurated there on 15 October 2006, though no documents confirm monastery or temple status. The site is presented as a representative office of the Thai Buddhist Sangha in Russia, with a religious group attached.

The monastery was founded in 2006 and attracted Buddhist representatives from Thailand and the local Saint Petersburg community. This establishment marked the introduction of Theravada practice to the region.

The monastery serves as a meeting place for people interested in exploring Buddhist teachings, hosting regular meditation sessions and lectures on Buddhist philosophy. The community translates Theravada texts into Russian to make these traditions accessible to local practitioners.

The house belongs privately to Phra Chatri Hemapandha, a Thai citizen who founded the Russia–Thailand Relations Development Fund. Officially it is presented as a representative office of the Thai Buddhist Sangha in Russia, though no documents confirm monastery or temple status. Monks from Thailand, Myanmar and Sri Lanka stay here by invitation.
