Rimsky-Korsakov Apartment and Museum

The museum occupies four meticulously preserved rooms in the apartment where composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov spent his final fifteen years until 1908.

After the Russian Revolution in 1917, the apartment became communal housing for multiple families until its transformation into a museum in 1971.

The museum displays over 250 original artifacts, including manuscripts, furniture, and the grand piano where famous composers performed during musical gatherings.

The museum opens Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with admission fees of 100 rubles for adults and 20 rubles for children.

The kitchen exhibit reveals details about the composer's daily life, including his habit of smoking 75 cigarettes while working on his compositions.
