Ascension Church

The Ascension Church stands with its blue exterior walls, white stucco decorations, and a central gold dome rising above the main structure.

The church originated in the first half of the 17th century as a wooden chapel, later replaced by a stone structure in the early 18th century.

The temple maintains regular Orthodox services and holds special celebrations during religious festivals, with participation from the local Russian community.

The temple welcomes visitors from early morning until evening services conclude, with entrance at the intersection of Mayakovsky and Dubrovinsky streets.

The church features a bell tower reconstructed in 2007, which sends traditional Orthodox bell calls across the neighborhood during religious ceremonies.
