Church of the Intercession, Rostov-on-Don

The Church of the Intercession features a semicircular apse connected to an extended dining room, with an asymmetrical one-tier belfry and small cupolas topped by crosses.

The original wooden church from 1784 was replaced by a stone structure in 1897, then demolished in 1930, with the current building consecrated in November 2007.

The church maintains Russian Orthodox traditions through regular services, religious ceremonies, and community gatherings, serving as a central place of worship in Rostov-on-Don.

Religious services occur daily except Mondays, with morning prayers starting at 9:00 AM and evening services at 5:00 PM, accommodating up to 500 worshippers.

The building incorporates decorative plaster around semicircular window openings and combines elements of Russian Revival style within a compact urban setting.
