Administrative Building of Rostov University

The brick building exhibits classical architectural elements with symmetrical windows, ornate cornices, and a grand central entrance facing the main street.

The Administrative Building, constructed in 1897, marked the establishment of the first major educational institution in southern Russia during the late imperial period.

The building holds regular academic conferences, research presentations, and educational seminars that bring together scholars from across the Russian Federation.

The administration offices operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with security personnel maintaining controlled access to the premises.

The structure retains original nineteenth-century metal work details in its staircases and window frames, manufactured by local craftsmen of that period.
