The Museum of History and Labor Glory of Kamov Helicopter Plant preserves the technological progress of Russian helicopter manufacturing through extensive exhibits and artifacts.
The museum opened on August 18, 1972, following the initiative of aviation veterans who contributed to the development of Soviet rotary-wing aircraft design.
The exhibition halls display models of helicopters, rotorcraft, aerosleds, and technical documentation that reflect the evolution of Russian aerospace engineering.
Located at 8 Marta Street 8a in Lyubertsy, the museum operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with guided tours available.
The museum contains materials from the 1932 altitude record of 605 meters set by the first experimental TSAGI 1-EA helicopter at Ukhtomsky airfield.
