Loga Park, Recreational park in Staraya Stanitsa, Russia
Loga Park is a recreation area in Staraya Stanitsa, Rostov region, where paths lead past tiered ponds, a mill, and viewing platforms. The site also includes areas with animals, lawns for resting, and a section with shiny mirror elements.
The site opened in 2012 on land that had not been used before, as a private project. Over the following years it grew through added ponds, buildings styled after old country houses, and new plantings into a larger park.
The name comes from the nearby Loga River, which runs through the forests in this area. Visitors see carved wooden figures, stone sculptures, and small chapels at many points, showing life in southern Russia.
The park is mostly flat and easy to walk, with stone and wooden paths suitable for strollers. A visit usually takes two to three hours, and there are benches and shaded spots for resting.
At one spot lies a large stone that looks like a face, and visitors often search for other natural shapes in the displayed rocks. Near the ponds, carp swim that sometimes come right to the shores when people walk by.
