Buildings of the Northern Insurance Company, Insurance company buildings in Tverskoy District, Russia.
The two-building complex features a clock tower on the western side and a neoclassical rotunda with small windows on the eastern structure.
Built in 1911 following an architectural competition with 22 submitted projects, the complex initially served as offices for the Northern Insurance Company.
Architects Ivan Rerberg, Marian Peretyatkovich, Vyacheslav Oltarzhevsky, and Ilya Golosov combined Russian neoclassical revival with traditional neoclassicism in the design.
The buildings house government institutions, with the eastern section serving the Presidential Administration and the western part accommodating the Ministry of Labor.
The five-story structures incorporate large square office windows throughout their facades, complementing the architecture of the neighboring Church of St. Nicholas.
