Kostino Estate, Korolyov, Regional cultural heritage site in Korolyov, Russia
Kostino Estate is a complex of multiple buildings arranged around landscaped grounds in northern Korolyov with traditional Russian architectural design. The structures include residential and communal spaces that are organized to function as a unified settlement.
The estate became part of the Bolshevo Commune during the 1920s and 1930s, a period when new social experiments were carried out on the grounds. This era shaped the design and function of the buildings that remain visible today.
The painted walls inside show scenes of work and social movements from the early 1900s. These images are still visible today and reflect the ideas that shaped the place.
The grounds are accessible by public transportation and located near other cultural sites in the district. Allow time to walk through the entire complex to view all buildings and open areas.
One main building called the Stroyburo House was specifically designed as an educational and community center with dedicated spaces for group activities. This purpose is still visible in how the rooms are arranged and connected.
