Protest

The Protest sculpture features three tall granite blocks with the central block shaped as a raised fist reaching toward the sky at Gärdet.

Swedish artist Torsten Fridh created this monument in 1986 to commemorate the International Workers Day demonstrations and labor movement activities in Stockholm.

The raised fist design represents the continuous fight for workers' rights and democratic values within Swedish society through a permanent public art installation.
